service, you can enable the conversation history to allow users to access conversations that are saved in the Conversation History folder of the user's Microsoft
Exchange
mailbox. Saving the conversation history is supported in the following environments:
- Users in aSkype for Businesson-premises that have mailboxes on an on-premisesMicrosoft Exchange Server.
- Users in aSkype for Business Onlineenvironment that have mailboxes on an on-premisesMicrosoft Exchange Server.
- Users in aSkype for Business Onlineenvironment that have mailboxes onMicrosoft Office 365.
Saving the conversation history is not supported in an on-premises

.To grant permissions, you must use an account with tenant administrator privileges.
- Log on to portal.azure.com.
- In the left column, clickAzure Active Directory.
- ClickApp registrations.
- ClickNew application registration.
- In theNamefield, enter a name for the application. For example, AzureAppIDforBEMS.
- In theApplication typedrop-down list, selectWeb app / API.
- In theSign-On URLfield, enterhttps://localhost:8443.
- PressEnter.
- ClickCreate.
- ClickSettings.
- ClickRequired permissions.
- ClickAdd.
- ClickSelect an API.
- Complete one of more of the following tasks:ServicePermissionsIf you configureConnectto useSkype for Business Online,
- Search for and clickSkype for Business Online.
- ClickSelect.
- Set the following permissions:
- Application Permissions: Make sure that all options are selected.
- Delegated Permissions: Make sure that all options are selected.
- ClickSelect.
- ClickDone.
- If you enable saving the conversation history, complete the following steps:
- In theRequired permissionscolumn, clickAdd.
- ClickSelect an API.
- SelectOffice 365 Exchange Online.
- ClickSelect.
- Set the following permissions:
- Delegated PermissionsAccess mailboxes as the signed-in user via Exchange Web Services
- ClickSelect.
- ClickDone.
If you configurePresenceto useSkype for Business Online- Search for and clickSkype for Business Online.
- ClickSelect.
- Set the following permissions:
- Application Permissions: Make sure that all options are selected.
- Delegated Permissions: Make sure that all options are selected.
- ClickSelect.
- ClickDone.
If you configureDocsto useMicrosoft SharePoint Online,- Search for and clickOffice 365 SharePoint Online.
- ClickSelect.
- Set the following permissions:
- Application Permissions: None. Clear the check boxes for all options.
- Delegated Permissions: Select theRead and write items and lists in all site collectionscheckbox.
- ClickSelect.
- ClickDone.
If you useMicrosoft Azure-IP- Search for and clickMicrosoft Graph.
- ClickSelect.
- Set the following permissions:
- Application Permissions: Read directory data
- Delegated Permissions: Read directory data
- ClickSelect.
- ClickDone.
- ClickGrant Permissions. ClickYes.This step requires tenant administrator privileges.
- In theSettingscolumn, clickKeys.
- In theKey descriptionfield, enter a key description up to a maximum of 16 characters including spaces.
- I n theDurationfield, select an expiration. Available expirations are: In 1 year, In 2 years, Never expires.
- ClickSave.
- Copy the keyValue.The Value is available only when you create it. You cannot access it after you leave the page. This is used as theBlackBerry BEMS Connect/Presence Service App Keyvalue in theConnectandPresenceservices andApplication Keyin theDocsservice in theBEMSDashboard.
- Copy theApplication ID. The Application ID is displayed in the mainApp Registrationspage for the specified app. This is used as theBlackBerry BEMS Connect/Presence Service App IDin theConnectandPresenceservices, theApplication Keyand in theDocs> Storages service, and theBEMS Service Azure Application IDin theDocs> Settings in theBEMSDashboard.
