Apps, widgets, and shortcuts

When you tap The all apps icon on your home screen, you can access installed apps and choose the apps, widgets, and shortcuts that you want to add to your home screen.
  • The
    Apps
     tab includes a complete list of the apps installed on your device, including apps that you download from the
    Google Play ™
     store.
  • Widgets
     are like miniature apps that you move to the home screen so you can access your favorite apps and content quickly. For example, the
    BBM
     widget shows a small view of your current chats and the
    Chrome
     bookmarks widget shows the websites that you bookmarked.
  • Shortcuts
     make it easier to perform the tasks that you do the most. For example, if you send a lot of email, you can set up a shortcut that opens an email composer.
