BlackBerry Work for iOS

This release of 
BlackBerry Work for iOS
 features the following enhancements:
  • The shared mailbox feature is no longer beta, and with the proper permissions, delegates can now send email messages, including S/MIME protected messages, and receive notifications.
    BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server
     2.10 or later is required to receive notifications for shared mailboxes.
  •  A new app setting has been added that enables a user to auto BCC themselves for each outgoing email.
  • Support for private flag for email messages in shared mailboxes.
  • The default setting for email classifications has been changed from None to Unclassified.
  • Microsoft

     IP protected documents can now be received and viewed in 
    BlackBerry Work
    BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server
     2.10 or later is required.
  • Support for Modern Authentication for 
    Microsoft SharePoint Online
    BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server
     2.10 or later is required. 
  • Users on 
    Microsoft Exchange
     2016 or 
    Office 365
     are now automatically updated to 
    Exchange ActiveSync
     version 16: Users that are upgrading to 
    BlackBerry Work
     version 2.15 from version 2.14.2 or earlier, and are using a version of 
    Exchange ActiveSync
     earlier than version 16, will be automatically upgraded to 
    Exchange ActiveSync
     version 16 if supported by your organization's 
    Microsoft Exchange
     server. After upgrading to 
    BlackBerry Work
     version 2.15, users will see a message that tells them that 
    BlackBerry Work
     must resynchronize with their 
    Microsoft Exchange
     server. Documents stored in Local Docs and user preferences are retained and are not impacted. After the resynchronization completes, users will be able to synchronize their Drafts folder to 
    BlackBerry Work
    . As a result, the 
    Exchange ActiveSync
     16.0 Protocol app setting policy has now been deprecated.

  • Delegates are unable to modify the date and time of an existing appointment in a shared calendar. (FIRST-15881)
  • BlackBerry Work for iOS
     is prompting for an unlock key when upgrading to version 2.15. (FIRST-16248) 
  • BlackBerry Work
     crashes during diagnostic tests when an S/MIME certificate is imported. (FIRST-15877)
  • The notification banner is appearing persistently in the foreground. (G3IOS-20019)
  • Notifications are not appearing for a shared mailbox for delegates with custom permission levels. (G3SERVER-8745)
  • Delegate permissions set in 
    Outlook
     Web App or Powershell
