Manually install the BlackBerry Dynamics SDK for Android
BlackBerry Dynamics SDK for Android
- Go to BlackBerry Developer Downloads and download theBlackBerry Dynamics SDK for Android
- Open your Android home directory in a file manager application, or change to the directory in a terminal window. This is thesdk/directory.
- From thesdk/directory, navigate to theextras/sub-directory.
- If there isn’t already a directory namedblackberry/here, create it now. You can create the directory using the file manager or by running themkdircommand.
- Change to theblackberry/sub-directory.
- If there is already a directory nameddynamics_sdk/here, it might already contain an installation of theBlackBerry Dynamics SDK for Android. You can move or delete the current directory, or use a different name for the new directory. If there is nodynamics_sdk/directory, go to the next step.
- Copy the zip file that you downloaded to theblackberry/directory and extract its files, or extract the files here directly. This creates a directory structure with a directory namedsdk/as its root.
- Rename the newsdk/directorydynamics_sdk/. You can rename the directory using the file manager or by running themvorrencommand.
