Known issues

Issues that are new in this release are noted with an asterisk (*)
* The
UEM Client
might stop responding when the device goes into airplane mode. (SIS-8600)
* When an administrator enables per-app VPN, a secure tunnel connection cannot be established through the
BlackBerry Connectivity
app. (EMA-15024)
Workaround
: Administrators can disable the per-app VPN option.
* When you try to activate an
Apple
DEP device over a proxy-enabled
Wi-Fi
connection, the following error message displays: “Error 3006: Your device cannot be activated at this time. Please try again later or contact your administrator." (EMA-14927)
Workaround
: Use the cellular data connection or another
Wi-Fi
network that does not use a proxy.
* When you open a
BlackBerry Dynamics
app while in airplane mode, the
UEM Client
might stop responding if it is the authentication delegate. (EMA-13095)
After deactivating an
iPad
device, the error message “This device is deactivated” appears when you open the
UEM Client
and try to activate the device again. (EMA-14818)
Workaround
: Perform a factory reset on the device.
After an
iOS
user imports a certificate, the user is taken through the import process again. (G3IOS-18108)
When a user is using the
Purebred
app, if the user uses the
BlackBerry Dynamics
Easy Activation feature to activate
BlackBerry Dynamics
apps, and enrolls a new
Purebred
certificate, the
BlackBerry UEM Client
might display the main home screen instead of the
Purebred
certificate selection screen. (GD-28949)
Workaround
: When the
BlackBerry UEM Client
home screen displays, the user can tap "Assigned Profiles", scroll to the "Certificates" section, and tap “Re-import certificates”.
When an additional compliance rule is assigned to a device to block an app, the compliance message that displays when the app is launched is not updated properly. (EMA-7439)
Workaround
: Restart the app.
