Deployment mode and requirements
There are two deployment modes for
NDS
.- Stand alone mode: This mode installsNDSon an application server withoutBlackBerry AtHoc.

The following table describes the required components for stand alone and combined mode. It is important to plan the installation or upgrade knowing which components are included.

The .msi installer will install
NDS
on a combined mode only if BlackBerry AtHoc
management system is installed on the application server. If BlackBerry AtHoc
management system is not installed on application server, the .msi installer will install NDS
in stand alone mode.
