New in this release

Individual connector workspace owner
: Users who have been granted this role can set up transient workspace connections to an individual external repository. This connection type provides more control over who is sharing data outside an organization.
Dropbox support
: Users can now connect to a Dropbox account from their BlackBerry Workspaces for Android app, which allows them to protect and share files easily.
Added line annotation tool:
Users can now use lines to annotate documents from the Workspaces viewer.
iManage improvements
: The following improvements were made to the iManage feature:
  • Users can share a file, access files when they are offline, and manage access to files.
  • When a user has a file shared with them, a ‘Shared with me’ folder is created under the workspace name, which contains all the files shared with that user from that workspace.
  • When users disconnect from an iManage repository, the workspace and permissions are removed.
  • Matters (Mapped workspaces) have an iManage icon to differentiate them from workspaces
Sharing
: You can now choose to share with a new group or an existing group.
Digital signatures
: BlackBerry Workspaces can display digital signatures in PDF files. A digital signature is used to authenticate the identity of a user.
Notifications
: When sharing content, you can choose whether or not to send notifications to the recipients.
Video file streaming
: When a user taps a video file, an internal video player opens and the BlackBerry Workspaces for Android app streams the video. The user can move the slider to any place in the video and the video will start to play immediately. If the internal player is unable to play the video, a message suggests that the user download the video and open it with an external player.
