BlackBerry Access for Android

This release of 
BlackBerry Access for Android
 features the following enhancements:
  • Support for Chromium version 71.

    It is recommended that you perform a fresh installation of

Fixed issues

  • For users that are assigned to a policy that restricts them from taking screenshots, 
    BlackBerry Access for Android
     is allowing users to take screenshots 
    when the app is in the background. (GMAGDAND-8733)

Known issues

  • When downloading a file on x86 
    Chromebook
     devices, the in-progress notification is displayed instead of the completed download notification. (GMAGDAND-8580)
  • BlackBerry Access for Android
     running on x86 
    Chromebook
     devices crashes after changing the language on the device. (GMAGDAND-8660)
  • Users cannot leave the Downloads page when a download is in progress in 
    BlackBerry Access for Android
     running on x86 
    Chromebook
     devices. (GMAGDAND-8579)
  • When a 
    Chromebook
     device is in tablet mode and landscape orientation, the History page disappears when the device orientation is changed to portrait orientation. (GMAGDAND-8577) Workaround: Reload the History page or set the  
    Chromebook
     device back to landscape orientation.
  • Users can’t open 
    Microsoft PowerPoint
    (.ppt, .pptx), 
    Microsoft Word
    (.doc, .docx), or 
    Microsoft Excel
    (.xls, .xlsx) protected files and receive an error message that "There was an error opening the document." (GMAGDAND-8480)
