BlackBerry Work for Android
features the following enhancements:
- The shared mailbox feature is no longer beta, and with the proper permissions, delegates can now send email messages, including S/MIME protected messages, and receive notifications.BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server2.10 or later is required to receive notifications for shared mailboxes.
- A new app setting has been added that enables a user to auto BCC themselves for each outgoing email.
- The private flag for email messages in shared mailboxes is now recognized.
- MicrosoftAzureIP protected documents can now be received and viewed inBlackBerry Work.BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server2.10 or later is required.
- Support for Modern Authentication forMicrosoft SharePoint Online.BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server2.10 or later is required.
- Users onMicrosoft Exchange2016 orOffice 365are now automatically updated toExchange ActiveSyncversion 16: Users that are upgrading toBlackBerry Workversion 2.15 from version 2.14.2 or earlier, and are using a version ofExchange ActiveSyncearlier than version 16, will be automatically upgraded toExchange ActiveSyncversion 16 if supported by your organization'sMicrosoft Exchangeserver. After upgrading toBlackBerry Workversion 2.15, users will see a message that tells them thatBlackBerry Workmust resynchronize with theirMicrosoft Exchangeserver. Documents stored in Local Docs and user preferences are retained and are not impacted. After the resynchronization completes, users will be able to synchronize their Drafts folder toBlackBerry Work. As a result, theExchange ActiveSync16.0 Protocol app setting policy has now been deprecated.

Known limitations
- The forward, reply, and reply all icons for delegated email messages are not synchronizing to theOutlookWeb App orOutlookwhen the message is sent fromBlackBerry Work. (G3ANDROID-16983)
- New email message counts are not being summed for delegated accounts when the notification policy is set to 'No details'. (G3ANDROID-17159)
- All of the values set under device notification settings are automatically being reverted to their default values after a period of time. (G3ANDROID-16924)
