You can configure
BEMS
to allow users to authenticate to Skype for Business Online
using their UPN address when it is different from the email address that was used to install and activate the BlackBerry Connect
app.
Complete this task only if your environment uses modern authentication. You can configure
BEMS
to disable validating the email address when users authenticate to Skype for Business Online
or the environment uses Azure
-IP.- If your users are configured with UPNs that are different from their email address, enable the "Use explicit UPN" property to allowBlackBerry Connectto authenticate toMicrosoft Office 365. For more information, see theBlackBerry UEMon-premises configuration content.
- InBlackBerry UEM, on the menu bar, clickSettings > BlackBerry Dynamics > Global Properties.
- Under theKerberos Constrained Delegationheading, select theUse explicit UPNcheckbox.
- ClickSave.
- Sign in to the computer that is running theBEMS-Connectservice.
- In a browser, open theApacheKaraf Web Console Configuration web site. Typehttps://localhost:8443/system/console/configMgrand login as administrator with the appropriateMicrosoft Active Directorycredentials.
- On the menu, clickOSGi > Configuration.
- ClickBlackberry Connect UCWA common settings.
- In theucwa.appresource.uservalidation.skipfield, typetrue.
- ClickSave.
- Close the browser.
