  • Unlock using
    QR Code
    : If the
    BlackBerry UEM Client
is locked, you can now unlock it from the
    UEM Self-Service
    portal using a
    QR Code
instead of manually entering an unlock key. This feature requires
    UEM
    12.13.
  • Support for
    BlackBerry UEM
    migration
    : Administrators can now migrate
    Android Enterprise
    devices that have a
    Google Play
    account between
    UEM
domains without the need for users to reactivate the device. This feature requires
    UEM
    12.13.
  • New IT policy rules
    :
    BlackBerry UEM Client
now supports new IT policy rules such as preventing certain apps from using metered data networks, allowing sharing data from the personal profile to the work profile, and specifying the device time and time zone. Administrators can also restrict the use of airplane mode, ambient display setting, brightness setting, date and time setting, screen timeout setting, and printing. For more information, see the BlackBerry UEM 12.13 release notes.
  • Silent installation of hosted work apps
: When administrators assign hosted work apps to a device, they are now silently installed on devices that are activated with the
Work and personal - full control
    (
    Android Enterprise
    fully managed device) activation type.
