Install and configure the BEMS-Presence cluster
BEMS-Presence
cluster- InstallBEMSon eachBEMS-Presenceserver at the primary site. Select thePresenceoption in each case. Use a new database to create a new cluster dedicated toPresence.
- InstallBEMSon eachBEMS-Presenceserver at the secondary site. Select thePresenceoption in each case. Add the servers to the same database that you used in step 1.
- In theBEMSconsole for this cluster, configure a list ofBlackBerry Proxyservers from several servers of BPCluster1 and several servers of BPCluster2. This list is used only for startup. Enable synchronization for all servers.
- Configure the appropriate instant messaging (for example,Skype for Business) andActive Directorysettings (for example, theLyncfront-end pool).
- Stop the services on the servers at the secondary site.
- In theBlackBerry UEMmanagement console, in the DefaultBlackBerry Dynamicsconnectivity profile, do the following:
- UnderApp servers for BlackBerry Presence Service, for each of theBEMS-Presenceservers at the primary site, set thePriorityto PRIMARY and set thePrimary BlackBerry Proxy clusterto BPCluster1.
- UnderApp servers for BlackBerry Presence Service, for each of theBEMS-Presenceservers at the secondary site, set thePriorityto SECONDARY and set thePrimary BlackBerry Proxy clusterto BPCluster2.
