root and intermediate certificate chains and import them into the Java
keystore on BEMS
and the Windows
keystore.

Verify that the
BlackBerry Connectivity Node
is installed with a status of Running.- On the computer that hosts theBlackBerry Connectivity Node, export theBlackBerry Proxycertificate to your computer. In a browser, typehttps://localhost:17433. A certificate error message is displayed because the certificate was signed by a CA that is not recognized as a well-known CA.
- To open the Certificate dialog, click the certificate icon in the URL field.
- ClickCertificate.
- ClickCertificate Path.
- Click the root certificate. The root certificate is the first item in the Certificate hierarchy.
- ClickView Certificate.
- Click theDetailstab.
- ClickCopy to File.
- ClickNext.
- SelectBase-64 encoded X.509 (.CER).

- Enter a name for the certificate (for example, ca.cer) and export it to the local computer.
