Install and configure the BEMS-PNS cluster
BEMS
-PNS clusterInstall and configure the BEMS-PNS cluster, including Mail and Enterprise Services, but not Presence.
- InstallBEMSon eachBEMS-Mailserver at the primary site. Select theMailoption in each case. Use the same database for all the servers in this cluster.
- InstallBEMSon eachBEMS-Mailserver at the secondary site. Select theMailoption in each case. Add the servers to the same database that you used in step 1.
- In theBEMSconsole for this cluster, configure a list ofBlackBerry Proxyservers from several servers of BPCluster1 and several servers of BPCluster2. This list is used only for startup. Enable synchronization for all servers.
- Configure the appropriate mail server and active directory settings and test them from both sites.
- Stop the services on the servers at the secondary site.
- In theBlackBerry UEMmanagement console, in the DefaultBlackBerry Dynamicsconnectivity profile, do the following:
- UnderApp servers for BlackBerry Core and Mail Services, for each of theBEMS-Mailservers at the primary site, set thePriorityto PRIMARY and set thePrimary BlackBerry Proxy clusterto BPCluster1.
- UnderApp servers for BlackBerry Core and Mail Services, for each of theBEMS-Mailservers at the secondary site, set thePriorityto SECONDARY and set thePrimary BlackBerry Proxy clusterto BPCluster2.
