Install and configure the BEMS-Connect cluster
BEMS-Connect
cluster- InstallBEMSon eachBEMS-Connectserver at the primary site. Select theConnectoption in each case. Use a new database to create a new cluster that is dedicated toBlackBerry Connect.
- InstallBEMSon eachBEMS-Connectserver at the secondary site. Select theConnectoption in each case. Add the servers to the same database that you used in step 1.
- In theBEMS-Connectconsole for this cluster, configure a list ofBlackBerry Proxyservers from several servers of BPCluster1 and several servers of BPCluster2. This list is used only for startup. Enable synchronization for all servers.
- In theBEMS-ConnectService Configuration for this cluster, configure a list ofBlackBerry Proxyservers from several servers of BPCluster1 and several servers of BPCluster2. This list is used only for startup. Enable synchronization for all servers.If you cannot add a list of servers (depending on the version of your software), then you must change the BPCluster during a disaster recovery event.
- Configure the appropriate instant messaging (for example,Skype for Business) andActive Directorysettings (for example, theLyncfront-end pool).
- Configure aBlackBerry Proxyserver for the .NET service.
- Stop the services on the servers at the secondary site.
- In theBlackBerry UEMmanagement console, in the DefaultBlackBerry Dynamicsconnectivity profile, do the following:
- UnderApp servers for BlackBerry Connect, for each of theBEMS-Connectservers at the primary site, set thePriorityto PRIMARY and set thePrimary BlackBerry Proxy clusterto BPCluster1.
- UnderApp servers for BlackBerry Connect, for each of theBEMS-Connectservers at the secondary site, set thePriorityto SECONDARY and set thePrimary BlackBerry Proxy clusterto BPCluster2.
