Publish CAP alerts

  1. Log in to the  
    BlackBerry AtHoc
     management system with an administrator account.
  2. Click 
    Alerts
    .
  3. Click 
    New Alert
    .
  4. Click 
    Create a Blank Alert
    .
  5. On the 
    New Alert
     page, enter the title and content of the alert.
  6. Specify response options for the text message.
  7. In the 
    Location
     field, click 
    Add
    .
  8. Click 
    Select Predefined Locations
     and from the drop–down list select the mass device you created.
  9. Uncheck the 
    Target Users
     and 
    Target Organizations
     check boxes.
  10. Click 
    Apply
    .
    A red text message is displayed if add location steps are not completed as described in steps above. Operator will be unable to Review and Publish alert if the red warning message is displayed.
  11. In the 
    Mass Devices
     section check the 
    Community Waring System Feeds V2
     checkbox and select the 
    Mass device user
     from the drop-down list.
  12. Click 
    Review and Publish
     to send the alert.
