Create a Windows Task Scheduler
You can create a Windows Task Scheduler on your local computer to run the Workday Sync Module automatically as a background task.
- On your local computer, clickStart.
- Search forTask Scheduler.
- ClickEnter.
- On theMicrosoft Management Consolewindow, clickYes.
- On theTask Schedulerwindow, in theActionspanel, clickCreate Task.
- On theCreate Taskwindow, enter a name for the task in theNamefield. For example, WorkdayUtility.
- Click theActionstab.
- ClickNew....
- On theNew Actionwindow, clickBrowse...in theSettingssection.
- Navigate to the location on your local computer where you installed theWorkdayIWSapplication.
- Select theWorkdayIWSapplication.
- ClickOpen.
- On theNew Actionwindow, clickOK.
- On theCreate Taskwindow, click theTriggerstab.
- ClickNew....
- On theNew Triggerwindow, in theSettingssection, select the schedule option. Options are One Time, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Optionally, select options in theAdvanced settingssection.
- ClickOK.
The Workday Sync Module synchronizes user data between Workday and
BlackBerry AtHoc
on the configured schedule.
