What's new in BlackBerry AtHoc mobile app 4.7

iOS and Android

Biometric authentication
: The mobile app now supports the use of Touch ID and Face ID to authenticate operator access to publish alerts and access the alert reporting summary. For more information, see "Enable or disable biometric authentication" in the
BlackBerry AtHoc Mobile App User Guide
.
OS support
: The
BlackBerry AtHoc
mobile app no longer supports Android 6 and iOS 11.
Scheduled location access
: Operators can actively track a group of users for a selected interval. Scheduled location access enables operators to more accurately track where mobile personnel are without relying on end users to perform manual check-ins from the mobile app. When scheduled location access is enabled, users receive an alert on the mobile app that location access has started. For more information, see "Configure scheduled location access" in the
BlackBerry AtHoc
 Mobile Administrator Guide
.
SSA Maps removed
: The Shared Situation Awareness (SSA) map is no longer supported. The Map option was removed from the menu.
