Android
* If you open a file, tap the BlackBerry Launcher , select Contacts, tap the BlackBerry Launcher and tap BlackBerry Edit , the file that you were viewing does not display. (JI 2720815) |
* After you upgrade to BlackBerry Edit 2.0.3, comments that were in documents before the upgrade do not display. (JI 2720071) |
* BlackBerry Edit does not support non-breaking hyphens, so when you open a file, the spelling of words that use a non-breaking hyphen are changed. For example, "mark-up" changes to "markup." (JI 2718181) |
* When you open a Microsoft
Excel spreadsheet that was attached to an email, you cannot use a drop-down list filter to edit the spreadsheet. (JI 2683517) |
* If you open a document that was attached to a BlackBerry Work email message, edit the document and click Save, the document does not display in the My Documents list. (JI 2671536)
Workaround : Tap Storage to refresh the list. |
When you are editing a file, Android icons, such as the navigation buttons, are difficult to see. (JI 2656216) |
When the "Allow Printing" policy is enabled, users can save documents as PDF files and print documents as PDF files outside of BlackBerry Edit . For example, users can save PDF files on their device or to Google Drive . By default this policy is disabled. (JI 2648674, JI 2647977)
Workaround : In the BlackBerry UEM console, disable the “Allow Printing” policy in the App configuration for BlackBerry Edit . |
For documents created in BlackBerry Edit , some underlined text might not display as underlined and spacing between text might not display correctly in a .docx file when you view the file in Microsoft
