Alert publisher features
BlackBerry AtHoc Eaton Waves support enables BlackBerry AtHoc to activate Eaton Waves with audio transferred via RS 422 (so no separate analog audio connection is needed) to achieve less than a 30-second delay from alert publishing until the alert sounds on Eaton.
- A new "Available for mobile publishing" option was added in the alert template in the BlackBerry AtHoc management system. Based on the "Available for mobile publishing" option the operators can now explicitly choose which alert templates are available to be published from the mobile app.If the operator selects the "Available for mobile publishing" check box in the alert template, that alert template appears in the alert publisher template list in the mobile app.
- Operators now have the ability to edit the "Alert Severity" and "Alert Type" of an alert template before publishing an alert. When operators tap the pencil icon next to Alert content on the alert template screen, they are directed to the screen where they can select the alert severity and alert type from the list of options displayed.
