Improved roles for transient workspaces | Administrators can now assign the new “Individual connector workspace owner” role to users to allow them to share, protect, and manage files that are in external repositories (for example SharePoint ). When adding a transient workspace connector, administrators can choose whether to allow all users with the “Workspace Owner” role to use it or limit usage to individual users that are assigned the “Individual connector workspace owner” role. Users that don’t have either role may still receive access to transient workspaces that are shared with them. |
Internal domains list | A warning message displays in the Workspaces management console when you need to set your organization’s internal domains to ensure that licenses are being used correctly.
Note : If internal domains are not defined, both internal and external users will consume a license. |
Added Dropbox support | Administrators can now add a Dropbox account as a transient workspace. When it is configured, users can protect and share Dropbox files and folders using the secure collaboration features of BlackBerry Workspaces . |
Notifications | Administrators and workspace administrators can now control when notifications are sent when sharing workspaces, folders, or files. |
Added line annotation tool | Users can now use lines to annotate documents from the online viewer. Lines can be customized in the following ways:

Upload and download file type restrictions | You can now set which file types can be uploaded or downloaded from any device (mobile, web application, sync clients). In the console, the location of the setting is now Security Policies > Files. |
Authentication reports | When an administrator generates an authentication report that is larger than 20MB, the administrator can download and save the report to the local computer. |
Retention policy exception | Organization administrators can select from a list of workspaces that will ignore the retention policy and will be retained permanently. |
iManage Cloud support | Cloud tenants can now add a transient iManage Cloud connector without the need for a local Unified Content Connector. |
