Choose battery saving options

Battery saving mode reduces power consumption by disabling some app features. When it is turned on, the Download Entire Message Content, Show Avatar, Sync Contact Groups, and Show Presence options are overwritten by the Battery Optimization Settings.
  1. To use the Battery Saver feature, in the
    BlackBerry Dynamics Launcher
    , tap The Settings icon.
  2. Tap
    Tools
    .
  3. To turn on the battery saver, slide the
    Battery Saver
     option to On.
  4. In the
    Sync Mode
     setting select
    Auto-sync
     for continuous sync or
    Manual Sync
     for synchronization to occur only when you log in or out or when you manually request synchronization.
  5. To stop the download of entire messages, turn off the
    Download Entire Message Content
     switch.
  6. To turn off avatars, turn off the
    Show Avatar
     switch.
  7. To turn off the synchronization of contacts, turn off the
    Sync Contact Groups
     switch.
  8. To turn off the
    Show Presence
     setting, turn off the
    Show Presence
     switch.
