Create mass device Zone and Pole endpoints

  1. Log in to the BlackBerry AtHoc Management System as an administrator.
  2. In the navigation bar, click The Settings icon.
  3. In the 
    Devices
     section, click 
    Mass Devices Endpoints window
    .
  4. In the 
    Mass Device Endpoints
     window, click 
    New
    .
  5. Select 
    LRAD Giant Voice
    .
  6. In the 
    Configuration
     section, select 
    Pole
     for 
    LRAD type
    .
  7. To create a new endpoint for a pole, complete the following steps:
    1. In the 
      Configuration
       section, select 
      Pole 
       for 
      LRAD type
      .
    2. In 
      Address
       field, enter 
      P,J1
      .
  8. To create a new endpoint for a zone, complete the following steps:
    1. In the 
      Configuration
       section, select 
      Zone 
       for 
      LRAD type
      .
    2. In the 
      Address
       field, enter 
      Z,1
      .
  9. In the 
    Address
     field, enter 
    P,***,10,
     where 10 is always the hexadecimal RTU Function number of the Public Address function.
  10. Click 
    Save
    .
If required, repeat steps 3 to 8 to create Mass Communication users for any other desired LRAD Pole or Zone target users.
