Delete an email message
When you delete an email, it is moved to the Deleted items folder.
It is not permanently deleted.
- In the email that you want to delete, tap
or swipe left on the email in message list. - To view the Trash folder, tap
> Trash. - To permanently delete items, do the following:
- Tap > Trash.
- Select the items that you want to delete permanently.
- TapDelete.
