Create email rules
You can create rules for push notification alerts to notify you when an you
receive an email that is marked important or from a specific user or group. Rules
associate a particular sound with a type of sender that you define.

- In theSounds and Notificationssection, tapMail.
- On theMail Notificationsscreen, tapRules.
- On theRulesscreen, tap the Plus button in the top right corner.
- Enter the name of the rule and select a sound. You can turn off the mail notifications for that rule so that they do not appear on the locked screen and in the notification center.
- To add filters (sender mails or subject keywords) to the rule, tapFilters. You can also set the High Importance filter. Tap Subject keyword to filter by words in the subject line. You can add multiple keywords.
- TapSave.
- To edit an existing rule, tap on its name in the rules list.
- Tap the pencil icon in the rules list to select multiple rules for deletion.
