Your
BEMS
environment must be configured to trust the Root CA for the BlackBerry Proxy
HTTPS configuration or implement the Karaf workaround. For instructions, see Importing and configuring certificates in the BEMS in a BlackBerry UEM environment configuration content. - In theBlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Server Dashboard, underBEMS System Settings, clickBEMS Configuration.
- ClickBlackBerry Dynamics.
- Complete one of the following actions:TaskStepsIf aBlackBerry Proxyserver is not defined
- ClickAdd BlackBerry Proxy.
- In theHost Namefield, type theBlackBerry Proxyserver host name.
- In theProtocoldrop-down list, select the protocol used to communicate with theBlackBerry Proxyserver.
- If you select HTTPS, thePortfield prepopulates to 17433. This is secure.
- If you select HTTP, thePortfield prepopulates to 17080.
If you configure your environment for HTTPS, you must Export the BlackBerry Proxy certificate to the local computer and then Import the certificate into the Java keystore on BEMS. - ClickTestto test the connection.
- Repeat steps 1 to 4 to add additionalBlackBerry Proxyservers for redundancy continuity.
If one or moreBlackBerry Proxyservers are definedNo action is required. Previously definedBlackBerry Proxyservers are listed. - Select theApply to other nodes in the BEMS clustercheck box to communicate theBlackBerry Proxyserver information to all of theBEMSnodes in the cluster.
- Optionally, select theEnforce the SLL Certificate validation when communicating with BlackBerry Dynamicscheck box when you use the https protocol to communicate with theBlackBerry Proxyserver.
