Verify your browser settings

To be able to access Self Service from the Desktop App using Internet Explorer, ActiveX settings must be configured.

Open

Click

Tools

Internet options

Click

Custom level...

On the

Security Settings

window, scroll down to the

ActiveX controls and plug-ins

section.

Select the following ActiveX values:

Download unsigned ActiveX controls	Disable
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting	Disable
Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt	Disable
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins	Enable
Run antimalware software on ActiveX controls	Disable
