Uninstall versions prior to 2.8.5
To uninstall
NDS
and BlackBerry AtHoc
management system on the application server, complete the following steps:- (Standalone upgrade only) Uninstall theBlackBerry AtHocmanagement system if you are upgrading and plan to use the standalone mode:
- Run theBlackBerry AtHocmanagement system uninstall program.
- Uninstall theBlackBerry AtHocmanagement system application and database servers.
- Ensure all of the databases exceptngdeliveryare removed. If not, delete them manually.
- Delete all the stored procedures related to BlackBerry AtHoc insystem > MSDB.
- Delete the ngad user.
- Reboot the server.
- Delete the following folders inAtHocENSdirectory:
- \CommonSiteData
- \Logs
- \ServerObjects
- \wwwroot
- UninstallNDS:
- Undeploy GAC
- Navigate to the following directory:C:\Program Files (x86)\AtHocENS\DeliveryServer\Installations\2_DeployGAC
- Right-click on theundeployGAC.batfile and selectRun as Administrator.
- Remove Application Pools:
- Open IIS and go toIIS>Default site.
- In theApplication poolsremoveAtHocDeliveryServerEndpointandAtHoc. NDS.Uap(forNDSV2.8.3 or higher).
- InIIS, delete all applications underDefault Web Site.
- Remove theNDSconfiguration for theAtHocProcessorservice:
- Navigate to theAtHocENS/ServerObjects/Processdirectory.
- Open theAtHocProcessor.configfile.
- Remove theDeliveryServer masterThreadsection, as shown in the following image:
- Save your changes.
- Uninstall plug-ins:
- Stop all plug-in-related services, such asAtHocTelephonyservice.
- Uninstall theTASplug-in.
- Navigate to the following directory:AtHocENS\DeliveryServer\Plugins\AtHocTelephonyservice.
- Right-click onundeploy.batand run as administrator.
- Take a backup of the ATS registry.
- Navigate toAtHocENS\DeliveryServer, and delete thePluginsdirectory.
- Remove theAtHocENSfolder.
- Reboot the server.
