BlackBerry UEM
database using CreateDBYou cannot upgrade a
BES10
database to a BlackBerry UEM
database. If your organization's security policies do not allow applications to have permissions to create or upgrade databases, you can run CreateDB on the database server to create a
BlackBerry UEM
database or upgrade to a BlackBerry UEM
database instead of using the setup application. After you create or upgrade to the BlackBerry UEM
database using CreateDB, you can run the setup application using a service account that has minimum permissions on the database server.
