Supported upgrade environments

The following are the supported upgrade paths to 
BlackBerry UEM
 version 12.10:
  • You can use the setup application to upgrade 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.8 or later to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.10. If you have 
    BES12
     version 12.5 or earlier, you must first upgrade all instances to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.7 and synchronize the environment, then to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.8 or 12.9 before you can upgrade to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.10.
  • If you have 
    Good Control
     version 4.0 and later and 
    Good Proxy
     version 4.0 and later, you must first upgrade all instances to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.8 and synchronize the environment before you can upgrade to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.10.
  • You can install 
    BlackBerry UEM
     and migrate policy sets, connectivity profiles, app groups, app usage (for certificates), and certificates from 
    Good Control
     (standalone) version 5.0 to 
    BlackBerry UEM
    .
  • You can migrate IT policies, profiles, groups, users, and devices from 
    BES10
     to 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.8 or 12.9 and then upgrade or migrate from 
    BlackBerry UEM
     version 12.8 or 12.9 to version 12.10.

When you upgrade to the latest version of 
BlackBerry UEM
, you upgrade the management console and the database.
