Telephony Integration (CTI) lines are created to deliver alerts.Perform the following steps on an XP Server. If you do not have access to an XP server, call

technical support for assistance.Path:
CM Admin > Bulk Administration > Upload/Download
- Log in with your user name and password.
- Open theBAT.xsdfile.The BAT.xsd file defines the CTI phone lines. You edit this file to create CTI lines.
- SelectBAT.xlt.
- ClickSave.
- SelectOpen and Enable this Content.
- ClickPhones.
- SelectCTI Portand clickCreate File Format.
- SelectDirectory Numberin theLine Fieldslist and click>>to move the item to the Selected Line Fields list.
- ClickCreateand clickYeswhen a pop-up screen asks you if you want to overwrite the existing CSV format.
- In theMAC Address/Device Namecolumn of thePhonestab, add a device name for each CTI line.For example: CTILine1, CTILine2.
- Optionally, in theDirectory Number 1column, enter the unique number of the associated directory number.Create one row for each directory number. Use sequential numbers. For example, 14001.This number must be in the range of directory numbers specified in the NodesStarting Directory NumbersandEnding Directory Numbersfields found underCUMC>System>Nodesin theStarting Directory NumbersandEnding Directory Numbersfields.
- ClickExport to BAT Formatto create the updatedBAT.xltfile.
- Enter a name and save the file. For example,myBAT.txt). The .csv file is created with a TXT file type. Save this file name because you need to access it in a later step.
