Insert the CTI lines
- Download the CTI .bat file. For example, myBat.xsd:
- Go toCM Admin>Bulk Administration>Upload/Download Files.
- On theFind and List Fileswindow, clickAdd New.
- On theFile Upload Configurationwindow, in theFiletext box, enter the full path of the file that you want to upload or clickBrowseand locate the file. For example, myBAT.txt.
- SelectPhonesfrom theSelect the Targetlist.
- SelectInsert Phones-Specific Detailsfrom theTransaction Typelist.
- Run the .bat file.You must run the .bat file on a Windows XP server. If you do not have access to an XP server, contactBlackBerry AtHoctechnical support for assistance.
- Go toCM Admin>Bulk Administration>Phones>Insert Phones.
- On theInsert Phone Configurationscreen, select the exported file.
- SelectFile Nameand in thephone templatename, select the template name that you previously created. For example, CTI Lines.
- From thePhone Template Namelist, select the template created in the previous section. For example, CTI Lines.
- SelectRun Immediately.
- ClickSubmit.
- Check the job status by navigating toBulk Administrator>Job Scheduler.
- Locate the job by sorting on timestamp and contents.The status is given in the log.
- To reset the phones, navigate toCM Admin>Bulk Administration>Phones>Restart Phones.If the phones inserted are of the typeCiscoUnified Mobile Communicator, then you must reset the devices after the insert job is completed.
