(Optional) Enable audio and video playback
This section describes how to enable audio and video playback on the RD Session Host server.
- On the RD Session Host server, open Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration:
- ClickStartand hover overAdministrative Tools, and then point toRemote Desktop Services.
- ClickRemote Desktop Session Host Configuration.
- If the User Account Control dialog appears, verify that the action it displays is what you want, and clickYes.
- FromConnections, right-click the name of the connection to be configured (for example, RDP-Tcp), and clickProperties.
- From theClient Settingstab, clear theAudio and video playbackcheck box.
- ClickOK.The changes take effect the next time the user connects to the RD Session Host server.
