Create a mass device endpoint for each COG

To distribute messages to other COGs, you must create a 
BlackBerry AtHoc
 mass device endpoint for your local COG and for each target COG to which you send alerts. You can name each user something relevant like "COG-ContraCostaCounty_<cogid>" or "COG-MyCOG_<cogid>".
When possible, plan to use consistent usernames for each mass communication endpoint across each COG.
You must have administrator, advanced alert manager, or end-user manager privileges to create end users.
  1. Log in to the 
    BlackBerry AtHoc
     management system as an administrator, advance alert manager, or end-user manager.
  2. In the navigation bar, click Settings icon.
  3. In the 
    Devices
     section, click 
    Mass Device Endpoints
    .
  4. Click 
    New
    , and then select the 
    IPAWS CAP
     exchange.
  5. On the 
    New Mass Device Endpoint
     screen, in the 
    General
     section, in the 
    Endpoint Name
     and 
    Common Name
     fields, enter a descriptive label, such as “COG123456.”
  6. In the 
    Configuration
     section, in the 
    Address
     field type the 
    COG ID
    .
  7. Click 
    Save
    .
  8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 for all peer COGs.
