Update IPAWS settings in the

BlackBerry AtHoc

management system

Update the alert templates (formerly called scenarios) for each organization. See the

BlackBerry AtHoc

Manage Alert Templates Guide

to learn about alert templates. The following parts of the template need to be updated:

Add a geo-location for IPAWS public alerting devices (EAS, NWEM, WEA, and WEA 2.0.)These devices require a geo-location for activation.
Update the target lists.

Replace the XML configuration content for each device:

In the
Devices
section, click
Devices
.
In the
Device Manager
section, select the device.
Click
Edit
.
In the
Delivery Gateway
section, for IPAWS click
Configure
.
Click
Remove
to delete the existing XML content.
From the
Add a Delivery Gateway
list, select
IPAWS
to get the new XML configuration content.
Click
Save
.
