Update IPAWS settings in the BlackBerry AtHoc management system

management system- On theBlackBerry AtHocserver, re-enable the device. See Configure IPAWS in the BlackBerry AtHoc management system.
- From theBlackBerry AtHocmanagement system, configure the gateways.Select theCopy the default settingscheck box.
- From theBlackBerry AtHocmanagement system, configure or verify the IPAWS device settings for each device that you use:
- Public Devices: IPAWS EAS, NWEM, WEA, and WEA 2.0.
- COG to COG device: IPAWS CAP Exchange
- Upgrade to BlackBerry AtHoc 6.1.8.87 only:
- Update the alert templates (formerly called scenarios) for each organization. See the to learn about alert templates. The following parts of the template need to be updated:
- Add a geo-location for IPAWS public alerting devices (EAS, NWEM, WEA, and WEA 2.0.)These devices require a geo-location for activation.
- Update the target lists.
- Replace the XML configuration content for each device:
- In theDevicessection, clickDevices.
- In theDevice Managersection, select the device.
- ClickEdit.
- In theDelivery Gatewaysection, for IPAWS clickConfigure.
- ClickRemoveto delete the existing XML content.
- From theAdd a Delivery Gatewaylist, selectIPAWSto get the new XML configuration content.
- ClickSave.
- Send a Test Alert to Public Alerting Devices.
