Management system desktop traffic URL
The desktop traffic URL is the Web address for the desktop app. If no desktop traffic URL is configured, desktop traffic uses the System URL. The desktop traffic URL value is returned when the desktop app requests the
baseurl.asp
before sign on.The desktop traffic URL provides a way to configure the desktop app use a different URL than the System URL. Set up a desktop traffic URL when you need to distinguish desktop traffic from traffic from the BlackBerry AtHoc management system or from Self Service.
To configure a desktop traffic URL, complete the following steps:
- Log in to the BlackBerry AtHoc management console as an administrator.
- Change organization toSystem Setup (3).
- In the navigation bar, click the
(Settings) icon.
- In the System Setup section, clickSystem Settings. The System Settings page opens.
- ClickEdit.
- In the System Setup Parameters section, enter the URL in the Desktop Traffic URL field.
- ClickSave.
