Create a Client ID and Client Secret

You need the Client ID and Client Secret to update the AtHoc OAuth provider record.
Ensure that you note down the Client Secret before navigating to any other page.
  1. Log in to the BlackBerry AtHoc management system as an administrator.
  2. In the navigation bar, click The Settings icon.
  3. In the 
    System Setup
     section, click 
    API Applications
    .
  4. On the 
    API Applications
     screen, click 
    New
    .
  5. In the 
    Basic
     section, in the 
    Name
     field, type a name.
  6. For 
    Status
    , select 
    Enabled
    .
  7. In the 
    Authentication
     section, for 
    Grant Type
    , select 
    Password
    .
  8. Click 
    Save
    . The Client ID and Client Secret are generated and displayed in the 
    Success
     banner.
  9. Take note of the Client ID and Client Secret.
