Import update sets
The entire
ServiceNow
BlackBerry AtHoc
integration solution is available in the form of a ServiceNow update set. To deploy this integration solution, you must import the update set to a customer's ServiceNow
environment. You must import the following two update sets:- GlobalScopeUpdateSet
- SN-IWS_Alert IntegrationUpdateSet
- Open theServiceNowinstance and log in with your credentials.
- In theFilternavigator field, typeRetrieved Update Sets. A list of results is displayed.
- ClickRetrieved Update Sets.
- On theRetrieved Update Setsscreen, in theRelated Linkssection, clickImport Update Set from XML.
- On theImport XMLwindow, clickChoose File. Navigate to the update set and attach it.You can import only one update set at a time.
- ClickUpload. The update set is displayed in the Retrieved Update Sets window in Loaded state.
- ClickUpdate set record.
- On the update set record, clickPreview Update Setto preview the changes that are captured in the update set. During the update, you may get an error because of the conflicts between the files present in updates set and the files which are already present in the ServiceNow.
- ClickClose.WithPreview Update Setoption, you can only preview the update set changes and cannot commit any changes.
- If an error is displayed, during the import of theSN-IWS_Alert IntegrationUpdateSet.xmlfile, in theUpdate Set Preview Problemsection, clickSkip Remote Updatefor oauth_entity_XX. SelectAccept Remote Updatefor all the remaining conflicts.
- ClickCommit Update Set.
- When you are done, refresh the main browser window for the changes to take effect.
- Repeat steps 5 to 10 to import theGlobalScopeUpdateSetfile.
