Acknowledge a file

Read acknowledgement may be requested on files in a workspace or files sent via

BlackBerry Workspaces

. It requires the file recipient to complete an acknowledgement process before viewing the file.

This feature is set by organizational policy. All files pending read acknowledgement can be accessed directly from the

area of the home screen. When working in other screens, click the

icon on the left navigation menu to access all items in your workspaces that are pending acknowledgement. Throughout your workspaces, individual files that require read acknowledgement are also marked with the read acknowledgement required icon and_read_ack_pending

in the file details area.

Open a file marked with

Read acknowledgement required

When opened, you will see a

Read this document and click the acknowledgement bar at the end

banner at the top of the file.

Once you have read the file, click

Click here to acknowledge you have read the file

at the bottom of the file.

Notification of your acknowledgement is sent to the workspace administrator or file sender. The file is removed from your

Pending read acknowledgement

file list.
